In Colorado we embrace the outdoors, making the most of the winter season and the most of the summer season including our love for patio dining. Thankfully, Silver Grill Cafe has set out to ensure patio dining withdrawals don’t hit us during the winter months. Doubling the size of their back patio and creating a quiet open-air cocktail lounge in 2012 has created a downtown crown jewel. Brick walls make for a cozy boundary lined with decorative curlicue wrought-iron rails carving out two special lounge/dining sections.
But what sits inside the open-air cocktail lounge/patio is the best surprise. A fire pit, blankets and complimentary coffee plus the Grill’s famous Bloody Mary Bar (both summer & winter) help pass the time and makes the wait....so worth the wait!
Silver Grill began stirring up craft creative cocktails long before it was the hip thing to do and they have mastered it well. The cocktails are every bit as fresh and original as the food menu.
The "Winter Warmer" menu include the likes of Mocha Blackberry Latté; two shots of dark roast espresso with steamed milk, shots of house infused citrus vodka and Feisty Spirits Blackberry Whiskey, dark chocolate syrup, and topped with fresh whipped cream and a swirl of dark chocolate syrup.
The warmer season highlights a “Summer Sips” drink menu offering 26 traditional and unusual concoctions like the Silver Grill Cinnamint Julep; fresh lime and muddled mint, Feisty Spirits bourbon, cinnamon syrup and seltzer. Year round the Hard Cidermosas is a hit; sourcing local from Feisty Spirits and Scrumpy’s Hard Cider and infused with fresh juices. The patio is a summer favorite providing tons of shade, blooming plants (in partnership with Harmony Gardens), and bright red umbrella tables. Add the Bloody Mary Bar or a tasty cocktail and you've got one heck of a combo!
The creative and classic menu is consistently over the top filled with deliciousness, a patio that introduces a sense of calm and the crazy good drinks marks Silver Grill at the head of the FoCo fav list.
